Natasha Williams, who hails from the village of Saron in the Swartland, joined Bosman Family Vineyards in November 2014 following her Viticulture & Oenology studies at Stellenbosch University. While part of the winemaking team, in 2016 she completed a harvest under the acclaimed Russian River Valley winemaker Merry Edwards, honing her skills with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Harvests at Jordan near Stellenbosch and trips to California and France enhanced her experience at Bosman in Wellington. She was awarded an International Wine Challenge scholarship in 2017 to further her studies through the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and in 2019 took over the winemaking responsibilities for the winery's Lilienfontein cellar. She now makes her own wines under the label Lelie van Saron "Lily of Saron", a reference in Afrikaans to her upbringing, and in 2023 took over winemaking at the new, Belgian-owned Hasher Family Estate in Upper Hemel-en-Aarde.
