Nadia Langenegger-Barnard grew up in the Cape winelands and fondly remembers going out to estates with her parents where she says it always intrigued her to see the the work that went into creating a bottle of wine. She enrolled at the University of Stellenbosch in 2002 and studied Viticulture and Oenology. In 2006, after completing her student harvest under Bruce Jack at Flagstone, she gained harvest experience in France, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand - at Balnaves of Coonawarra, Vergelegen in Somerset West, Moutere Hills in Nelson and at Domaine La Roche in Chablis. In late 2008 Nadia joined Waterkloof Wines, a Stellenbosch estate with a biodynamic heritage and sublime coastal terroir, as Assistant Winemaker and was made Head Winemaker in 2013.
