Nadia Sadie, who studied Soil Science and Viticulture followed by an honours degree in Soil Science before lecturing at the University of Western Cape, met her husband David at the University of Stellenbosch where he studied viticulture and winemaking. While working for an environmental auditing company she and David established their namesake David & Nadia Wines and their first wine was produced in 2010. At the beginning of 2016 Nadia joined the family winery on full-time basis overseeing viticulture for their project and managing the vineyards that they lease with a dedication to sustainable soil management practices. Through their brand, they focus on Chenin Blanc and Chenin-based blends as well as Grenache Noir and Grenache Noir blends working with various vineyards and like-minded farmers in the Swartland that share their vision.
