Israel Harvest 2016


The 2016 harvest set Israel apart if a recent report from the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV) is anything to go by. While the effects of global warming reduced the crop of major wine-producing countries such as France, South Africa and Argentina by as much as 30% in some cases, stable weather and quality fruit hold the promise for a vintage year for Israeli wines.

The photos tell the story of the hands-on approach that is so synonymous with so many of Israel's leading wineries.
